Kabuli Chana chat

Ingredients:

1. Kabuli chana- 1 cup

2. Water- 2 cups

3. Green chillies- 2

4. Red chilli-1

5. Onion- 1

6. Mustard seeds- 1 tbsp

7. Cumin seeds- 1 tbsp

8. Urad dal- 1 tbsp

9. Curry leaves- 1 strand

10. Coriander leaves- handful

11. Salt - to taste

12. Oil- 1 spoon



Preparation Method:

1. Wash and soak kabuli chana for 6 hours. Boil chana in a pressure cooker adding 2 cups of water and salt. Give 5-6 whistles.

2. Meanwhile prepare tadka. Add oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds let them splatter, cumin seeds, urad dal. red chilli, curry leaves. Saute for a minute.

3. Crush the green chillies, onion and add to the tadka. Cook for 2 minutes, till translucent.

4. Add boiled chana and mix well. Cook chana for 2 more minutes.

5. Garnish the chana with coriander leaves and give a good mix.
