Tindora Chutney/Dondakaya Chutney

Ingredients:

1. Tindora- 300 grams

2. Cranberries- Handful

3. Cilantro- handful

4. Green chillies- 5

5. Turmeric- pinch

6. Salt- to taste

7. sesame seeds powder- 2 tbsp

8. Oil- 2 spoons

9. Mustard seeds- 1 tbsp

10.Cumin seeds- 1 tbsp

11. Urad dal- 1 tbsp

12. Red chillies-2

13. Asafoetida- pinch


Preparation Method:

1. Heat 1 spoon oil in a steel pan, add chopped tindora, cranberries, cilantro, saute for a min and cook covering with the lid.

2. Let tindora get soften, add turmeric,green chillies, salt, mix well and cook till tindora is extra soft.

3. Let it cool down. Meanwhile make tadka in another pan, add rest of the oil,let it heat add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, red chillies, asafoetida and saute for 2 minutes.

4. Now blend the tindora mixture coarsely. Check for salt and sourness. Dishout to a bowl and add tadka top of it.
