Palak Paneer without onion, garlic

Ingredients:

1. Paneer- 300 grams

2. Palak- 1 bunch

3, Green chillies- 3

4. Ginger- 1 inch

5. Butter- 1 spoon

6. Cumin seeds- 1 tsp

7. Salt- to taste

8. Curry Masala- 1 tsp

9. Turmeric- 1/2 tsp

10. Lemon juice- 5-6 drops


Preparation Method:

1. Blanch palak, cool down and blend palak,green chillies, ginger into a smooth paste.

2. Heat a kadai add butter, cumin seeds, turmeric, add the blended palak paste. Cook the palak paste for 10 minutes on a slow flame.

3. Add salt to the paste, if required add water and mix well. Add curry powder. Cook for 2 more minutes.

4. Add paneer cubes, mix well. Turn of the flame. Add lemon juice and mix well. Serve hot with roti, paratha's, fried rice.


Note:

Adding lemon juice will restore the palak color. Do Not add more juice.
