Rajma-Poori

Ingredients:

1. Rajma- 1 cup

2. Mint- 1/2 bunch

3. Onion- 1

4. Tomato-2

6. Dry fruits- 30 grams (cashew, Almond, Pistachio, Walnut)

7. Salt- to taste

8. Chilli powder- 1 tbsp

9. Garam masala- 1 tbsp

10. Butter- 1 spoon

11. Ginger-garlic paste- 1 tbsp

12. Turmeric- pinch


Preparation Method:

1. Soak rajma for 6 hours. Cook rajma for 2-3 whistles in a pressure cooker.

2. Heat a non-stick kadai add butter, gg paste, turmeric and fry for a minute. Add chopped onions and fry till translucent.

3. Make tomato puree. Add the tomato puree to the onions, add mint leaves and mix well for a while.

4. Add boiled rajma, water, salt, chilli powder and saute for a minute. Cook for 3-4 minutes.

5. Add dry fruits paste and garam masala. Mix well and cook closing the lid for 2 minutes. Rajma is ready to serve with poori or steamed rice.


Ingredients for Poori:

1. Wheat flour- 1 cup

2. All purpose flour- 1 cup

3. Water- as per required

4. Salt- pinch

5. Sooji- 1 spoon

6. Oil- 1 tbsp


Preparation Method:

1. Add wheat, all purpose flour in a mixing bowl. Add salt, sooji,desired amount of water. Mix well and make a perfect dough. Add oil and again mix the dough. Cover the dough with a muslin cloth for an hour.

2. Make small ball out of dough. Press the balls like poori.

3. Deep fry in oil. Soft poori is ready to serve.
