Vegetable Biryani with Raita

Ingredients:

1. Basmati rice- 2 cups

2. Carrot- 1

3. Beans- 1/2 cup

4. Zucchini- 1

5. Cauliflower- 1/2 cup

6. Bell pepper- 1

7. Mint leaves- 1/2 cup

8. Green chillies- 2

9. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp

10. Curd- 2 tbsp

11. Oil- 1 spoon

12. Butter- 1 spoon

13. Salt- to taste

14. Red chilli powder- 1/2 tbsp

15. Biryani Masala- 1 tbsp

16. Water- 3 cups


Preparation Method:

1. Wash and soak basmati rice for an hour.

2. Heat butter and oil in a pot, add gg paste, mint and green chilli paste. Cook for a minute.

3. Add curd and vegetables. Saute for a minute and close the lid.

4. Add soaked basmati rice, fry for a minute. Add required amount of water, salt to taste, red chilli powder, masala powder. Mix well and close the lid.

5. Cook till the water is evaporated and give a gentle mix, turn of the flame.


Raita:

Ingredients:

1. Onion- 1

2. Curd- 1 cup

3. Green chilli- 1

4. Salt- to taste

5. Black pepper powder- pinch

6. Peanut powder- 1 tbsp


Preparation Method:

1. Chop the onion and green chilli.

2. Whisk the curd properly, add chopped onion and chilli, salt, pepper powder and peanut powder.

3. Mix all together and serve with biryani.
