Pessarattu/Moong bean Dosa

Ingredients:

1. Moong bean- 2 cups

2. Rice- 1/2 cup

3. Water- as required

4. Ginger- 1/2 inch

5. Green Chillies- 3

6. Salt- to taste

7. Turmeric- pinch

8. Oil- as required


Preparation Method:

1. Soak Moong bean, rice for 8 hours. Grind it using water, add ginger, green chillies. Grind till smooth batter.

2. Add salt to taste,turmeric. Mix well.

3. Take a non-stick pan, pour 2 ladles of batter, make like dosa, add oil on top of it, cover with lid. After 2 minutes flip pesarattu and cook for 1 more minute.

4. The above ratio is for reference, you can increase or decrease depending on your family. Approximately you can make 18 to 20 pesarattu's which is a good quantity for 4 people. So the basic ratio is (1:1/4 moong:rice)
